The moon rising exactly above Hengelo's striking city hall tower. It took some planning beforehand but with the right application you can predict the moon's orbit very well. In addition, you need to have enough distance to the object, in this case the striking Hengelo city hall tower. The tower was inspired by two towers located in Tuscany, namely the Torre del Mangia and the tower of the Palazzo Vecchio. In addition, the architects also took inspiration from the old Stockholm city hall.
After planning, I was able to set off with my camera with a 200-600mm zoom lens on it. Arriving at the location, well in time of course, I set up and adjusted everything and the waiting could begin. Always exciting just before the moon rises.
In the end, the planning and waiting was rewarded with a beautiful clear moonrise. At five minutes to 10, it was right above the tower. Mission accomplished!
