About the artwork

Head of a black-faced cow with red ear tag.

What could be more Dutch than a herd of black and white cows in the meadow? It makes me happy when, in spring, the cows are taken out of their stalls again and find their way to the tender green grass...they dance and jump for joy: madness!
Red pied, Blisterheads, Lakenvelders, all breeds of cattle are favourite subjects for the artist. Vincent van Gogh also painted cows, of the red and white breed that is. The painting hangs in the Museum of Fine Arts in Lille. My rendering of this black-and-white cow may be fine but I do not have as much class as my compatriot Vincent van Gogh. Still, I hope this cow will soon be hanging in your room, office or kitchen. Some green food every day please...who knows, she might even give a few litres of milk. And "milk is good for everyone except Jan because he pees from it!".

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
