About the artwork

The Happy Place paintings are originally hand-painted colourful abstract works in a small format. The approach to painting is intuitive. You follow your creative tendencies, applying all kinds of technical aspects of painting (such as composition, use of colour, contrast) so as not to end up with a shapeless grey mass. But you do not start from a preconceived plan. As an artist, you don't know where the work will end up. In this way, every painting is a surprise not only for the viewer but also for the maker. So when is it finished? When it feels finished 'feels'. That is up to the maker. Then, as a viewer, you can let your imagination run wild with such'abstract artworks. What do you feel about it? What does it evoke in you?
Happy Place 001 to 004 are photographed in great detail, so they can also be printed in a larger format. So close up and enlarged, all kinds of interesting elements stand out, which hardly attract attention on a small work. Like the easily perceptible brushstrokes and variations in the applied lines and markings.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
