Easter, of course, does not only stand for a Christian festival, but as far as I am concerned, it stands above all for the start of spring. The better weather, and the budding of nature through the flowering trees, bulbs and many shrubs that bloom for the first time then. Flowers again for the first time after a long hibernation, after a long period of very many grey, cloudy days, with very little colour. The trees that often bloom first and then slowly turn green again as leaves reappear. The animals looking for a place to build a nest. Children being able to go outside to ride their bikes and play outside again. Bicycles being used much more often again and walking shoes being pulled out of the grease. In short, the world is coming back to life. The flowers, the eggs, the young animals, flowers, and the green of the leaves all that can be found in this colourful work. The colours used here are mainly yellow and green, but taupe, pink orange can also be found here.
As an artist, I like to enter a colorful world especially the world of flowers. This colourful and so positive world appeals to me enormously. Flowers spread a positive atmosphere because of the colors and the beautiful and diverse shapes and one can never get enough of that!.. Read more…
