Cormorants and Gulls on the North Pier gray skies the clouds draw over the landscape. The Gulls and Cormorants on the edge of the pier. The puddle in the middle indicates rain. The harbor beacon stands proudly in place.
The Noordpier at Wijk aan zee with the red and white striped harbor light guarding the harbor mouth. The Zuidpier in the background near IJmuiden forms a unique harbor mouth together with the Noorpier to allow ships to enter safely.
Before the storm broke I had the camera ready. I wanted to photograph reflections but no rain had fallen yet. That was more than made up for later. But the Cormorants were also ready to be photographed.
The gulls in the air hunting for a fish or a crab. Totally in their element elusive in the air. The wind is already picking up the rain showers announce the storm.

Always on adventure and looking for industrial landscapes and details. And I do a lot of street photography. Walking through the streets, old villages and city centers.
I photograph mainly with an analogue Yashica 635 and a Ricoh AF 5.
