Grinding with a shower of sparks in the Workshop
Crafts and finishes the art of hand labour.
The sparks of the grindstone and the iron being worked. The blacksmith's rough hands and the drawn work apron. The work piece hidden in the hand the sparks coming towards the camera. The abstract photo with long shutter speeds taken in a small workshop an intense photograph.
With my work as a street photographer, I show the rough, unpolished sides of city life. With my photos, I try to capture the beauty of everyday moments. The viewer can then invent his or her own story to go with it. I also have a fondness for industrial environments, such as harbour sites and factory buildings, where traces of the industrial past are still present. In doing so, I try to photograph subtle details, using both digital and analogue cameras.
Dive into the world of 'Zaankanter op avontuur' and discover the frayed edges of everyday life through my lens.
Photography digital and analogue from the camera for on the wall, of the living room waiting room, study or office. Or as wallpaper filling!
Zaankanteropavontuur.
Always on adventure and looking for industrial landscapes and details. And I do a lot of street photography. Walking through the streets, old villages and city centers.
I photograph mainly with an analogue Yashica 635 and a Ricoh AF 5.
