About ‘Grey mandala’ by Art by Ilona

"Grey Mandala" is a hand-painted artwork in which a central mandala is the starting point. From the centre, graceful floral motifs and delicate patterns unfold, all in a calm, monochrome grey tone. The atmosphere is calm and meditative: the interplay of lines and soft transitions invite you to look and unwind.
What makes this work special is the combination of rigid geometry and organic ornamentation. Every detail is built by hand, with stencils giving the mandala and fine leaves a 3d effect, but without digital tools. The technique requires precision and patience: first the base is sponged with acrylic paint, then the texture is carefully measured out, which are then coloured in. This creates a unique balance between order and spontaneity.
This piece grew out of my fascination with patterns and the power of repetition. While painting, I always look for harmony between structure and playfulness. Small imperfections and manual details make the work lively and human.
What makes "Grey Mandala" unique is the subtle stratification: the work continues to fascinate, whether you look at the details up close or experience the total composition from a distance. In any interior, this artwork brings tranquillity, sophistication and a touch of mysticism. It fits perfectly in a modern, minimalist or, on the contrary, atmospheric room and is a real eye-catcher that invites contemplation.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
