Green Frog in Duckweed – Unusual Frog Photography | Macro Nature Photography by Hilde Remerie – Digital Art, Bauhaus & Photography

‘Green Frog in Duckweed’ is a remarkable nature photograph of a green frog that has almost completely hidden itself amongst the duckweed. Only its little head and curious eyes protrude above the water’s surface. It is precisely this fleeting moment that makes the photograph so captivating: the frog seems to be looking straight at the viewer from its green hiding place.

Macro photography brings the details of the animal and its natural surroundings into sharp focus. Surrounding the frog is a carpet of tiny duckweed plants, in which subtle traces are visible. These lines in the duckweed lend the image extra movement and reveal something about how the frog has moved through the water.

The various shades of green create a strong sense of natural cohesion. The green frog almost blends into the duckweed, so it takes a moment to spot it. This makes this frog photograph playful and a little mysterious. The image invites you to look closely and find the hidden animal amongst the duckweed.

This nature photograph of a frog fits beautifully into a modern, rustic, natural or botanical interior. As wall art, the photograph brings a touch of ditch and pond nature indoors. It looks particularly good in the living room, hall, study, conservatory or any room for nature and animal lovers.

For lovers of green frogs, frog photography, wildlife photography, macro photography, nature photography, ponds and duckweed, this is a special nature portrait. The photograph shows just how fascinating ordinary Dutch nature can be when you look at it closely.
