About ‘Golden light in the Morvan, France’ by Yvette J. Meijer

In the summer of 2022, I drove through the Morvan for the first time. The area had been on my list for several years, but weather conditions kept throwing a spanner in the works. The Morvan turned out to be beautiful with its rolling winding roads through a very varied and wooded landscape. In the fall of 2022, I had the chance to drive through the area again, this time enjoying the autumn beauty. Trees with leaves of all shades of yellow, green, orange and red stood out brightly against the blue sky. At the end of the day, I stopped because the view with the setting sun looked like it came straight out of a movie. After shooting several pictures of the sunset with the streaming light over the hills, my eye caught the hedge that was right in front of me. The golden light danced as if with the fine cobweb spun between the twigs. It was silent as a mouse. Not a leaf moved. Only the sound of my camera's shutter and the smile that streaked across my face as I saw the image I had captured.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
