About the artwork

Amidst the baroque splendour of Dresden, the Golden Horseman shines as a majestic monument to times gone by. The golden monument, a tribute to Augustus the Strong, captures the warming rays of the setting sun and reflects the splendour of a fascinating era. The bronze statue, steeped in history, rises above the bustling Neumarkt as a guardian of the past and a shining witness to royal power.
But the scene is tinged with an eerie sense of foreboding. Over the picturesque rooftops of Dresden, threatening storm clouds are gathering, their dark veils heralding a change. The contrasts between the golden splendour of the rider and the threatening clouds lend the picture a surreal atmosphere, as if history itself were holding its breath.
At this moment, the Golden Horseman becomes a symbol of the constant in the midst of the unpredictable. His golden splendour defies the imponderables that loom, and while the world around him is shrouded in darkness, he retains his sublime calm. At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
