Glass bowl of oranges (AI) (fresh, healthy, fruit, kitchen, still life, summery) by Natalie Bruns

This watercolour painting depicts a glass bowl filled with ripe oranges, with a few fresh green leaves still attached to the fruit. The composition feels simple yet powerful: an everyday fruit bowl is transformed here into a warm and sunny still life. What makes this painting special are the transparent rim of the glass bowl, the subtle highlights on the oranges and the soft blue area beneath the bowl. As a result, the fruit almost seems to be lying on the table in real life.

The use of colour is fresh and summery, featuring bright orange, warm yellow, natural green and soft shades of blue. This combination gives the work a cheerful holiday feel and brings to mind breakfast on a terrace, a market in Southern Europe or a kitchen bathed in sunlight.

Oranges are widely grown in countries such as Spain, Italy, Greece, Portugal, Morocco and Turkey. It is precisely for this reason that this painting evokes images of Mediterranean orchards, fragrant citrus trees and relaxing holidays.

In an interior, this work brings warmth, freshness and colour. It fits beautifully in a kitchen, dining room, conservatory or bright living space, particularly for those who love fruit, cooking, gardening and natural décor.

Growing up in an environment surrounded by nature, with my own vegetable garden and fruit trees, inspired me to create this painting using AI.
