About the artwork

This photo shows the majestic Solheimajokull glacier in Iceland reflected in a beautiful lake. The glacier towers high above the landscape and stretches across the entire width of the photo. Its imposing mass is reflected in the water of the lake, creating a double image of its incredible size. Near the edge of the glacier, some almost invisible human figures can be seen. These people take an excursion on the glacier to admire impressive crevasses and views. The size of the glacier relative to the hikers gives a clear idea of the enormous scale of this natural force. The colours of the picture are spectacular and give the image an almost surreal look. The white and black of the glacier contrasts beautifully with the dark colours of the surrounding rocks and the deep tones of the water. The sky above the glacier is bright blue The photo exudes a sense of calm and serenity, but you also feel very humbled standing at the foot of this glacier.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
