About ‘Girls just wanna have fun!’ by Anoeska Fotografie

On a lovely summer evening, I had gone into the polder close to home (around Hoeksche Waard) with my camera. The sunset was beautiful again and it was really enjoying the beautiful colours in the sky.

Actually, it was already too dark to photograph without a tripod so I was already cycling home. Until I saw these girls walking on the dyke. They were running, playing and fooling around with each other. I saw their silhouettes and was about to photograph them when suddenly they came walking towards me.

Gone was the pretty picture. I then asked the girls if they wanted to walk to the dyke for a while so that I could take some nice photos'of them. They were very happy to do so. That is how I was able to take this beautiful photo.

The girls absolutely loved it and they also thought the photo was really cool. They had not seen this before. The backlight of the setting sun makes it possible to photograph beautiful silhouettes. Not only of people but also of animals and other subjects. The results are often super fun!

In this photo, I edited the colour of the setting sun to more orange for a more exciting picture.

For this photo, I only used AI support to reduce digital noise (via Topaz DeNoise AI). All creative choices, edits and compositions were done entirely manually and by me.

Welcome to my shop!
I am Anoeska and since 2019 I have been passionate about photography, with a particular love for birds and nature around me.

What started with a simple SLR camera and a basic kit lens soon grew into a serious hobby. I now shoot with a Canon R7 system camera, which allows me to capture not only the smallest details in nature, but also fast action images.

My favourite subject is birds! But I also intensely…

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
