About ‘Giraffe and sunset’ by Marco Schmierl

The picture captures a breathtaking scene during sunset. The play of light in golden and orange tones fills the sky and bathes the landscape in a warm, almost magical glow. The strong colours contrast with the dark shadows and lend depth of field and dimension to the entire scene. The composition is harmonious, with a balanced relationship between sky, vegetation and ground. In the foreground is a lone giraffe at a waterhole on the edge of a riverbed.

The graceful silhouette of the giraffe stands out clearly against the bright sky and conveys a sense of isolation and tranquillity. Surrounded by the lush vegetation of Africa and close to a dried-up riverbed, the giraffe appears to be completely embedded in its natural habitat. The dryness of the ground around the waterhole and the green backdrop create a contrast that draws the viewer's attention to the central motif. This scene epitomises the essence of the African wilderness in its purest form and shows the fragile balance between the animals and the nature that surrounds them.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
