About ‘Frozen icicles in front of a yellow wall’ by Russell
Severe frost caused icicles to form on the canopy of a yellow wooden house. Small air bubbles were formed in the ice by the wind. This work was taken in winter in Tromsø, Norway, where the sun is low. As a result, the long shadows of the icicles are visible in the background and the ice glistens beautifully.

Thanks for checking out my profile! I am fascinated by travel photography and see it as a challenge to reflect geological features in my works. For instance, I play with a low-lying northern sun, blend sky and sea mist or try to make desert mountains more imposing through their shadows. I hope to convey my enthusiasm for these particularities to you!
