About the artwork
"Fragile and fragile: Dried old pink leaves" is a macro photo of a still life with reflection of leaves of a plant, the Bougainvillea. This plant grew on Lanzarote. It looks like 1 leaf but it is 3 leaves surrounding the seeds. As these leaves have been dried by the lovely warm Spanish sun, the veins have become very visible and the leaves have become wafer-thin. The colour has also become less bright, the bright pink has become more old pink. The background is a kind of turquoise with a gradient in it. It runs from the top right corner (the turquoise colour is light here) to the bottom where the colour is darker. If you zoom in on the photo, you can see how nicely the grain structure can be seen in this picture.
This piece could, for example, hang beautifully as wall decoration in the bedroom, dining room or just above the sofa! Also beautiful in business locations such as on the wall in a meeting room, office, waiting room or practice room!
