About ‘Ford GT40 1965 Spa Six Hours 2023’ by Jack Brekelmans

The Spa Six Hours is a historic racing event held annually at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium. The race is open to pre-1965 GT and touring cars, and always attracts a large number of participants and visitors.
One of the most iconic moments of the Spa Six Hours is the passage through the Eau Rouge corner. Eau Rouge is a fast, uphill corner taken full throttle by most drivers. It is a challenging corner that commands a lot of respect, and where many accidents have happened.

In 2023, the 1965 Ford GT40 will participate in the Spa Six Hours. The GT40 is a legendary race car that won the 24 Hours of Le Mans four times in a row in the 1960s. The GT40 is a fast and powerful car, perfectly tuned for the Spa-Francorchamps circuit.

The passage of the 1965 Ford GT40 through the Eau Rouge bend promises to be a spectacular sight. The car will enter the corner at high speed and then accelerate on the straight that follows. It is a moment that will keep spectators on the edge of their seats.
