About "Footsteps in the sand"

About the artwork

I dreamed once and behold
I was walking on the beach at low tide.
I was not alone there,
for the Lord too was walking by my side.

We walked through life together,
leaving in the sand
a trail of steps; two by two,
the Lord walked by my hand.

I stopped and looked behind me,
and saw my life's journey,
in times of happiness and joy,
of deep sorrow and hope.

But when I looked closely at the track,
I saw all along the track,
right where it was most difficult,
only one pair of steps stood.

I then said "Lord why then?
Just when I needed You,
just when I could see no way out for myself,
on the toughest part of my path..."

The Lord then looked at me full of love,
and answered my questions;
"My dear child, when it was hard ,
then I carried you..."

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
