The flowers of the echium, also called snakeweed, are beautiful blue, purple, lilac with pink in color. I photographed this flower in the wild. This flower is native but very rare. So I was also super happy when I saw this wild flower. The botanical name is Echium vulgare.
It is a medicinal herb that is still used as a tea for fevers and headaches. However, it is also widely used in skin care products because of its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effect.
I took this picture with my macro lens. I love the texture of the petals and the beautiful hairy stems. The spherical background makes this photo unique.
The color purple has a calming, purifying and comforting effect in a room. Combined with the green, it gives balance and equilibrium. Did you know that green is the most healing color there is? This color balances thinking and feeling. One more reason for nature on the wall.
