About ‘Flower child giraffe’ by Sandra Kolondam

A gentle-looking giraffe wears a colourful wreath of wildflowers, roses and summer blooms. Its calm expression and the soft natural tones of the background give the motif a warm, friendly aura. The giraffe's characteristic coat patterns contrast harmoniously with the vibrant colours of the flowers. Fine brushstrokes in the fur and lovingly crafted details in the flowers create depth and liveliness. The flower wreath appears as a natural extension of the animal – playful, yet stylish. This work is inspired by the idea of highlighting the gentle elegance of wild animals and combining them with floral elements. The giraffe symbolises serenity, perspective and inner peace. As the daughter of a Munich native and an Indonesian, I grew up between Bavarian tradition and Far Eastern ornamentation – a mixture that continues to shape my visual language to this day.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
