The still dense buds of a Hydrangea.
This picture was taken in my own garden with some late evening light. In the foreground the flowers and in the middle the buds, which will burst open within a few days.
Pay attention! The photo has deliberately limited sharpness. Especially the small flower bud in the center is sharp, around it it fades.
