About "Flamingo's by the sea"

About the artwork

Two flamingo's, looking for food together.
What will they find in the setting sun?

These flamingo's were part of a large group. They were all walking along the surf in the setting sun. Looking for something edible.

The wind was blowing pretty hard, and it showed in the waves and the foam on them and the water.

There was beautiful light, the flamingo's body has a golden edge because of that beautiful light.

It was a beautiful moment because the birds had almost the same pose while taking the picture.

This is not on a Dutch beach, the photo was taken during my trip to Namibia, where we actually wanted to go to a lighthouse first, but when you see flamingo's by the sea they are preferred anyway.

It is a joy every time I see this picture, you can almost feel the warmth of the sun.

While taking the photo, I was quite a distance away on the beach, moving was not an option because otherwise the birds would get scared. The strong wind meant I could only rely on my camera, often I could not see much because of the sand blowing into my eyes, which in turn caused tears.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
