About "'Feel This Good'"

About the artwork

A figurative abstract work of black thread, acrylic & textile.

Her textile works can be described as figurative with a touch of realism in mixed media. The works are characterised by an emotional charge and raise questions. During the process, elements of alienation arise which are added or omitted to her work. Recurring themes are female figures, sensuality, strength and vulnerability, in which Kim does justice to the structure of various materials, with textiles as the main element.

Images arise from the black threads, these are applied by machine or by hand to canvas, the loose threads are just as significant as the fixed threads.

The loose threads 'fall' out of the canvas & give the work a sense of movement & freedom. Sometimes combined with ceramics, charcoal & paint, among others, Kim combines & plays to bring different materials into one.

Kim Rijntjes , graduated in Monumental Design from the Academy of Fine Arts in Maastricht.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
