About "Fear - Digital Art"

About the artwork

Fear is an abstract artwork created by digitally smearing paint. When the work took the shape it has now after smearing, I traced the lines in the work using drawing techniques of pencil and charcoal and then painted over the colors again to add texture and depth to the work.

Sometimes I just feel like painting with my fingers just like when I was a kid. I then take a few colors and start mixing and smearing them until shapes emerge that I can see something in. Often such a project leads to nothing, but in Fear I saw potential.

I find this work bright and remarkable and what makes it especially special is that I see a vicious circle in it. In the forms I see a withdrawn character with his mouth open with fear. Behind the sad eyes, I see another fearful figure pressing himself backwards against his skull. And finally, the character is surrounded by the fears emanating from within himself that seem to be consuming him. If you see it too, then perhaps you will understand what I mean.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
