About ‘Fantasia on horseback’ by Hassan Hamdi

This painting depicts a traditional Moroccan Fantasia ritual: a line of horsemen firing at full gallop with guns drawn in perfect harmony. The energy splashes off the canvas, with explosive brushstrokes, fiery colours and traces of movement.

The inspiration comes from the impressive power of this cultural ceremony, which centres on pride, tradition and collective strength. The work is not meant to be a realistic image, but an experience - as if you were standing among the dust and tension yourself.

I worked with palette knife and thick acrylic paint to capture speed and power. The canvas is full of movement: flames of colour, smoke, sand and shimmer. The painting celebrates not just the riders, but the spirit of cooperation and rhythm.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
