Fanal Forest is one of the last remaining laurel forests in the world and has therefore been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The jagged laurel trees are overgrown with moss and often loom mystically among thick layers of fog. While on holiday in Madeira, we motored around the island. This included riding past the Fanal Forest, which can be found on the Paúl da Serra plateau in the northwest of the island. It presents a very beautiful, dreamy and mystical picture. So I had to capture this with my Canon system camera. If you look closely at the picture, you feel like you want to look further than you can. Or you do see something in the mist. This work fits well on your wall if you are also a nature lover or with an interior with green and natural tones.
