About "Face to face with Caesar"

About the artwork

Caesar is a majestic buzzard that comes to drink almost daily at a waterhole in the Kempen woods (Belgium).

To see him, you leave early. You take cover in a half-buried hut on the other side of the water hole.

What is special about this photo is that as a photographer you are standing at eye level with the animal. And here Caesar is looking straight into the lens.

A unique photo that allows you and your guests at home to come face to face with a bird of prey in the wild.

I gave him his name 'Caesar' because he has such an imperial look.

The photo was taken with a 500mm lens. Photographer and animal stood respectfully about 40 feet apart.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
