Exercise. A Dutch F-16 (J-513) just took off from Leeuwarden Air Base using the afterburner. Under each wing, the aircraft has a bomb hanging (have an olive green color).
The aircraft would shortly after that drop the bombs on the Vliehors (Cornfield Range).
Vliehors is a widened beach of approximately 24 square kilometres that is used for a large part as a military training area of the Royal Netherlands Air Force, the only one in the Netherlands where pilots of the air force and NATO partners are allowed to practice with ammunition and explosive charges.
