Evening light and reflections at the old cantonal court in Onderdendam by KB Design & Photography (Karen Brouwer)

This atmospheric photo shows the former cantonal court of Onderdendam, beautifully situated on the Boterdiep in the province of Groningen. During a summer evening, the stately building is illuminated by the warm light of the setting sun, while the colourful garden and flowering shrubs frame the scene. The reflection in the still water enhances the feeling of peace and harmony. An image that brings together history, architecture and landscape - perfect as wall decoration for lovers of characterful places in the north of the Netherlands.
