About the artwork

The picture shows Erfurt's Marktstraße at night during the Advent season. Illuminated Christmas decorations stretch across the cobbled street, hanging between the historic buildings. The facades are discreetly illuminated and some shop windows are festively decorated. A few passers-by can be seen in the background, but overall the scene radiates calm and restraint - a moment of contemplation in the middle of the city.

Marktstraße is one of the central axes of Erfurt's old town and connects the cathedral square with the Anger. Especially at Christmas time, this street is transformed into an atmospheric backdrop that combines tradition and urban life.

My inspiration for this picture was the special lighting mood in the run-up to Christmas - not loud or overloaded, but calm and atmospheric. I wanted to capture a moment that reflects the festive season in a restrained, almost quiet way.

The atmosphere is clear, calm and inviting. The picture invites you to pause and let your gaze wander through the festively decorated street.

In interior design, this work brings a seasonal mood with an architectural character to the room - ideal for lovers of urban Christmas motifs with a historical reference.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
