Erfurt Cathedral is the most important and oldest church building in Erfurt. It is 81.26 metres high and has the world's largest free-swinging bell from the Middle Ages, the Gloriosa.
The Severi Church is a Roman Catholic church in Erfurt. It stands on the Domberg, right next to Erfurt Cathedral. As a unique architectural ensemble, the two churches together form the city's landmark.
