About ‘Enso circles with orange’ by Margreet ter Brugge
In the Japanese tradition, drawing an Enso is used as a moment of meditation; as you exhale slowly, a circle is drawn with a flowing movement.
I created this Enso series using various colours of ink. They aren’t perfect circles, but they certainly have character!
Breathe in – breathe out.

Margreet aims to make the world more colourful and vibrant through her art. Sometimes she uses intense, strikingly bold colours, whilst at other times her work is subtle and balanced. Margreet’s artworks serve as a daily reminder to focus on our inner strength.
