This abstract artwork features a captivating composition of soft yellow, turquoise and purple tones that glide across the canvas in soft, flowing layers. The shapes are reminiscent of mist drifting across a tranquil landscape, while delicate, light-coloured lines cut through the scene like rays of light. A small, almost hidden detail catches the eye on closer inspection: a tiny, emerald green dot in the top corner that shines like a spark in the midst of the stillness. The texture appears ethereal, as if the colours are in motion.

The inspiration came during a trip to the Norwegian fjords, where the silence of nature and the mystical atmosphere of the mists touched me deeply. A story I read about inner peace intensified my desire to capture this sensation. I wanted to create a cool, calming atmosphere that felt like a breath of nature - a sense of peace and contemplation.

For me, "Echo of Silence" symbolises the power of calm in the midst of a hectic world, a place of inner contemplation. It was created during a period of recuperation when I was searching for clarity. I used a digital technique reminiscent of watercolour, with layers of soft colours and fine lines to capture the gentleness of the scene, guided by a sense of lightness. In an interior setting, this artwork brings an elegant, meditative touch and fits perfectly with people who love abstract art, closeness to nature or minimalism. It is reminiscent of the tranquillity of a misty landscape.
