Oh, what luck!
I got up at 3:30 and took the little boat a bit out into the archipelago.
Imagine that it turned out exactly as I had imagined.
Very little wind, the sun just about to rise, the fog lies like a hugging blanket over the mountains, a man in a boat is there to fish and suddenly it happens: He gets a fish! Oh, what luck for me. (and for the fisherman too, of course).
The place is the Swedish west coast and a couple of nautical miles outside a place called Skärhamn.
Much of the coastal fishing in the summer focuses on catching mackerel. Sometimes they come into large shoals, if you're lucky.
