This softly coloured artwork shows an interplay of wavy lines overlapping each other to create a special abstract image.

I often find my inspiration in my immediate surroundings and sometimes also simply in the things and objects I have in my home. All kinds of shapes, structures, colours and patterns challenge me to turn them into beautiful photographic works of art. And finding beautiful shapes, textures, colours and patterns doesn't require going far from home.
So in my kitchen, I found this object. An object made of shiny metal with beautiful distinct shapes.
The texture of the metal surface can be seen beautifully in this abstract artwork.
I digitally distorted the photo of this utensil to create this softly coloured artwork. An abstract artwork in pastel shades: pink, purple combined with blue topped with yellow, orange combined with army green. These colours shine even more thanks to the dark black background.
