A beautiful morning in January, with today's destination being the floodplains. It has rained heavily recently; there is water in the floodplains. Near Varik, in the Betuwe, it is a lovely stretch of walking through the countryside. Surrounded by ditches and puddles, it is like walking in a painting. The colours are beautiful, the reflections on the ice refract the light in a unique way. In the sky, swarms of birds pass by. Would they go to the sunny south, or survive in the Netherlands. I have no idea, but the image is beautiful; just enjoy it for a moment. And then 'click'; the image is captured. For now and forever to be online later. It will hang on someone's wall; that's for sure. The question is with whom. Will I ever find out? With you, then enjoy it. Just like I did this morning. P.s. this picture was taken with the 14mm wide angle on the camera.
Hans de Waay - enjoying landscapes & the city
Landscapes are beautiful to hang on the wall. You get out. Lovely to look at and dream away.
I try to capture the most beautiful moments. Often on the edges of the day. In the morning or in the middle of the night.
Thank..
