Warm colours of the sunset over the North Sea beach. The sunset over this North Holland dune and beach landscape radiates tranquillity. The sand of the dune in the foreground shows no distracting footsteps, just a wind-formed ridge pattern.
A few kilometres north of Bergen aan Zee, you will find these rows of poles on the beach. As common as it is in Zeeland, this is the only place in North Holland where this type of breakwater can be found.
