About the artwork
"Drops fade into the golden ceiling" is an (extreme) macro photo of lint from a lint ball with water droplets on it. This photo consists of vforemost warm colors: gold, beige and brown tones. Also, some drops seem to reflect a white silver glow.
By magnifying small things around us that we barely see for a moment, they can surprise and amaze us!
The depth of field is very shallow, (only a few millimeters from the front hair and drops. This creates not only a dreamy atmosphere, but also a sense of depth in the work.
The droplets also cooperate to create this dreamy atmosphere, they reflect the light and this creates sparkles among the fluff.
Another good thing about the shallow depth of field is that the hairs of fluff with droplets fade into the background, making the image a whole.
The texture of these seed hairs is very fine and forms a beautiful structure, to which the water droplets adhere.
