About the artwork

Some places on earth leave you completely still for a moment. This image shows the rugged coast at Drangarnir, an iconic rock formation in the Faroe Islands. The jagged rocks rise from the deep ocean, surrounded by steep cliffs and the endless water. What immediately struck me about this place is the feeling of ultimate freedom and being small in a grand landscape. You see not only nature here, but also adventure and a touch of mystery - enhanced by the dramatic cloud skies that are constantly changing.

This photo was created while walking along a narrow path, with the wind howling around your ears and the smell of sea salt in the air. I wanted to capture the strength and ruggedness of this coast, focusing on the imposing rocks, the clear water and the play of light and shadow. The lone hiker on the cliff on the right underlines the contrast between man and nature, and makes the image even more exciting.

This work is a real eye-catcher for lovers of pristine landscapes and adventure. It adds a sense of freedom to any interior, whether modern or classic. Perfect for anyone who likes to be inspired by the grandeur of nature.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
