Tips for use
  • Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
  • Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
  • Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
  • The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
  • Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

Beta feature. You need an AR-capable device (a recent iPhone/iPad or Android). The AR view is only an indication; colour, size and finish may differ in reality.

About ‘Detail of a steam train, with the text from a death trap’ by Hans de Waay

Recently I saw a very impressive documentary about people on death row. The location was America. The treatment these people received; everyone has to make up their own mind about that. A man of around 40 years of age was remarkable. Since he was 13 (!) he was imprisoned in a small cell. And on the wall; this text.

Original created by Hans de Waay.

Hans de Waay - enjoying landscapes & the city

Landscapes are beautiful to hang on the wall. You get out. Lovely to look at and dream away.

I try to capture the most beautiful moments. Often on the edges of the day. In the morning or in the middle of the night.

Thank you for coming to see my collection of works. Have fun with it.
