About ‘Detail of a house in ghost town Kolmanskop, Namibia’ by Martijn Smeets
An atmospheric detail of a sand-filled house in ghost town Kolmanskop in Namibia. The famous village is located near Lüderitz and in the so-called Sperrgebiet, a vast area that cannot be entered because of diamond mines. Kolmanskop has been abandoned since 1958 and is slowly being taken over by the desert sands.
