Paris, city of love... Beautiful old buildings and the Eiffel Tower. But deep underground at some 25 metres deep, there lie bones of some six million anonymous Parisians culled from the, then, overcrowded cemeteries from 1785 onwards. These bones were taken to the old limestone quarries. A corridor totalling 290 kilometres long. An impressive place, the Catacombs of Paris.
