Along the Herinneringslaan on the outskirts of Zwolle, the sun just came through the morning mist, setting the trunks of the trees on fire. It is early spring so the trees have no leaves yet and stand out beautifully against the sky.
This is truly one of those moments you get out of bed early for. The Netherlands wakes up and shoots into work mode and I am walking at just the right moment with a fine camera in the right place. If I was earlier, there is no sun, if I am later, the fog is not so present and the trunks do not light up so beautifully.
This is what I love.
