Lantern plant / Physalis

I am fascinated by dead / dried up nature. Dead', but so full of life, so inspiring, so beautiful!

I took this photo with natural light from the side (called skimming light), which accentuates the structures of the plant. You can see the transparent structure of the veins around the orange fruits.

This mystical, natural light is also known as Rembrandt light. Painters (such as the 'Dutch Master' Rembrandt) in the 17th century (Golden Age) were already working with it.

During the shoot I let the twig move gently, let it 'dance', which created a sense of movement and a subtle dynamic in the photo.

This mystical, stylish art photo combines beautifully with elements of gold, ochre, bronze, copper and brass in an interior. The photo matches beautifully with warm earth tones (such as brown, rust and moss green), but also with a minimalist, modern black and white interior.

This work of art fits in all spaces, such as living room, kitchen, hallway and office. In the bedroom it can create a dreamy, calming feeling.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
