About ‘Dancing Masai Mara in Kenya’ by Linda Baart | lindabaartkunst

This picture was taken during our holiday in Kenya. We stayed at a resort where one evening there was a dance performance by the Masai Mara. Because it was dark, the colours of their clothes and jewellery stood out even more. It took some time to get the right settings on my camera, but once I saw that they were perfect for the effect I wanted to achieve, I was able to take a lot of nice pictures. The trick, of course, was to get the sharpness in the right places and also some parts out of focus to emphasise the movement.

I like the dark background to bring out the colours of the trunk.

All my pictures're taken "in the moment", this picture cannot be taken a second time and the moment does not come back.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
