In wildlife photography, you always need a bit of luck. It is often a matter of just being in the right place at the right time. So when this fallow deer came out of the bushes, quite close, it was just a matter of standing still and waiting to see what he was going to do. When he started scratching his head, nicely showing off his antlers, that was obviously the moment to take the shot.
