About ‘Dam in the mudflats’ by Wim van der Geest

This dam is located near the small harbour of De Cocksdorp on Texel. It is a wadden harbour so the sea has free rein. Sometimes the water is high and you hardly see this dam and 6 hours later the dam is dry. But the sea doesn't wait; after another 6 hours the dam is flooded again and it starts from scratch.
