A blue coffee cup with a stirring spoon. The spoon is made of silver and has been engraved. The background and background around the subject is black. This technique is called Low-key. No other objects or colors are visible around the subject. A long exposure time was used to capture the movement of the spoon and the light. The rotating light, through a flashlight, around the spoon suggests stirring in the cup with the spoon. By moving the spoon little by little during the exposure, movement is created here as well. If you look closely, you can see that the spoon can be seen several times. The coffee in the cup leaves traces on the inner wall of the cup and a little foam still floats on the surface. Because the cup is glazed earthenware, it has a shiny exterior and the ear of the cup is reflected in it. This work fits very nicely in a coffee house, restaurant, breakfast room of a hotel or just at home in the kitchen.
