The work shows some poles of the palm village on the beach of Petten. On a grey day in December, I hoped that the sun would break through and that the sunset would bring some colour to the horizon. Unfortunately, the sunshine was not to be seen that afternoon but the sky and sea water were nicely in harmony in terms of colour. The vertical poles provided a nice contrast between the water and the sky. The seawater was rising and the long shutter speed allows the movement of the water to be seen and gives it a soft look.
