About the artwork

I walk to the edge of the forest via some sandy paths through dense shrubs and a wooded forest edge. The mist hangs above the heath and creates a beautiful layering in the landscape. The world has become a lot smaller this early morning. I'm amazed and the silence is deafening. The mist hangs over the heathlands like a heavy blanket and silences any sounds that could be heard. This is simply fun!

I continue walking past flowering heather and tranquil landscapes while following the tracks of a country road through the tall yellow straw grass. Winding along the edge of the forest, the branches of oak and spruce trees come together to form a tunnel in the early morning mist. The sandy path finds its way through it, while the light seems to shine through, the road seems to dissolve into the distance and disappear into a breathtaking autumn landscape.

Depth, perspective, color contrasts, sight lines, the composition comes together completely and my camera works overtime to bring together the right moment with the atmosphere I feel here. Enjoy a timeless moment of Dutch nature with me on the beautiful Veluwe.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
